Leeds University’s Professor on “Art Education in Britain”

At 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 13th, 2012, Prof. Dai Shulian from UK’s University of Leeds gave a talk on “the Art Education in Britain” in the great Lecture Hall of College of Arts & Sciences, SICNU, which was simultaneously translated by Dr. Li Ruru, one of offsprings of Chao Yu (a great and famous playwright in China). And the students of Communication Department and School of International Studies enjoyed the lecture.

In the lecture, Prof. Dai Shulian talked about the great play writer Shakespeare and his classical works in Britain, analyzing the differences between British drama and Chinese opera. She showed the students the teaching environment of Leeds University, which has a history of more than 100 years and is listed on the top 100 famous universities in the world. The beautiful learning environment and excellent learning style left a deep impression to the students on the scene.
